A Quick "Catch Me Up"
To prevent a revolt from the grandparents, we thought we should post a few pics of the family from the past few weeks.

The kids sang with the choir on Sunday, celebrating the day that God came to live among us.

Nicholas played in his first piano recital. Fittingly, he played "Jolly Ol' Saint Nicholas."

The guy in the background is Michael Martin Murphey. He and his band played at the annual Cowboy Christmas Ball. Even though we only knew how to two-step (and we kind of faked that...), we had a great time.

We had "Parents Day" at the last gymnastics class of the semester. Maddox showed us all of her tricks.

The end of November brought about deer season in Erick. This is the view from my favorite hunting spot that I call, "Hunting Spot #1."

Lastly, we had a pretty day in November and we decided to head to the lake. After the kids studies were done, we went to the Illinois River and had a rock skipping contest.
